The New England Plant Swap is cancelled for 2020

IMPORTANT UPDATE: NO IN PERSON SWAP FOR 2020

We have decided that there’s just no way to run the plant swap that does not create a substantial risk both for the attendees and to their families.

Because of this, we are cancelling the in-person swap this year.

Everybody stay safe and healthy, and we’ll hope to see you in 2021.

What To Bring

Bring high quality plants – think of this as a free nursery!

Rooted plants only, please no fresh cuttings!

Plants need to be in a container. No bare roots (except pond plants, bulbs, tubers, and corms)!

LABEL LABEL LABEL! Any information you can provide about species and lifestyle preferences will be much appreciated.

We encourage variety. Lots of different kinds of plants is more fun than lots of the same.

Houseplants, trees, annuals, perennials, veggies, and shrubs are all welcome!

Gently used tools, books, art, containers, and supplies are VERY popular.

Serious swappers bring a wagon.

Very serious swappers bring a friend (and the friend’s plants!)

Come On Down!

Adam’s Farm is 40 minutes from downtown Boston and easily accessible from anywhere in the region.

Park along the long driveway, bring your plants to the shelter, and get swapping!
